I initially chose painting as a tried and true illusionistic technique for realistic rendering of artifacts, such as vitrines in Natural History museums, the subject that lends itself for reexamining of the cultural narratives. Via photography, which is a source for my paintings, I arrived at digital media and 3D computer modeling. In it I found new dimensions to the construction of “reality.’’
